Development Programs
The Niagara Falls Rivermen is focussed on providing the best coaching possible for our children. We believe in this and uphold the OMHA's promise to provide the highest quality program. We have the best program, we have the best coaches, but we still need more volunteers to make it better.
The next phase is implementing the OMHA's mandatory training programs for our coaches, trainers, and managers. The OMHA is committed to providing the training, support, and development necessary to ensure our children receive the best mental and physical development we can provide.
While we may not run all of these clinics each season, you are able to access a complete listing of all available clinics throughout the province of Ontario on the OMHA website at www.omha.net under Development Programs.
You MUST be properly certified to be rostered with, be on the bench, or practice with any team within the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association. All prospective team officials must also apply for a police screening. To obtain your police screening documentation, please contact the Vice President of Representative Hockey.
Please note that all team official positions may require differing certifications. Educate yourself today!
